Contract Deadline:
1.During maintenance period, the project commencement date will be stipulated by the bureau. The contract period will last for 4 years starting from commencement date (8 A.M. on commencement date to 8 A.M. on completion date). The contract period shall include weekend holidays, public holidays and other holidays
2.The station elevators, cargo elevator, escalators, and automatic doors (including automatic doors in Taipei and Banqiao stations (inclusive of air shutters) ) sections: Refer to details in Appendix 15 and 17.
3.Before the expiry of the contract, to facilitate the transition between new and old contracts, the bureau reserves the right to renew contract with original contractors. Contract renewal is limited to a maximum of 2 phases or 5 months with each phase lasting 2.5 months. Contract renewal will be based on conditions and prices stipulated in original contract and will be conducted through exchange of contracts.
Contractor Qualifications: Qualifications of Tender Contractors and Tender Documents should be as follows:
One. Basic Qualifications:
A、Domestic Tenderer Qualifications: Elevator Construction

1.Documentation of Elevator Construction Industry Registration or Establishment
2.Documentation of Ministry of Interior authorized Elevator Construction Industry

B、Or Qualifications of Foreign Tenderers:
1.Foreign Contractors from WTO member nations that have joined in the GPA agreements should submit a copy each of the Certificate of Incorporation in their nation and the Articles of Incorporation and a Chinese translation of the documents that is notarized by the country's government department or notary public and certified by the local Taipei Representative Office.
2.Local Taipei Representative Office certified original signature of company representative
Specific Qualifications of Tenderers and Required Documents are as follows:
Two. Experienced Contractors: The company must have completed contracts of similar nature or extensive contracts within the recent 5 years of tender deadline, and each contract value should not be lower than two-fifths of the total contracts in the recent 2 years

A、Domestic Project Achievements:
1.For projects undertaken for the military, government departments and public services, a copy of qualified project acceptance issued by owner should be submitted.
2.For private projects, a copy of qualified project acceptance and project contract should be submitted. The copy should be notarized by the court or notary public.
B、Foreign Project Achievements:
1.A copy of Head Office project contract and qualified project acceptance issued by owner should be submitted. The copy should be notarized by the local government or notary public and certified by the local Taipei Representative Office, and signed by the tenderer to prove the authenticity of the project acceptance.
2.If the foreign project is not calculated in NTD, then the tenderer should convert the amount to NTD using closing rates from Bank of Taiwan currency exchange NTD spot buying rates a day before announcement of tender notice for calculation of project achievements.
C、For contractors with sufficient human resources:
Both domestic and foreign contractors should possess certificates of repair and maintenance competency. There should be at least 10 (inclusive) repair technicians with class C Elevator Technician Certificates, and at least 9 resident technicians with class B Elevator Technician Certificates in Sectors A and B (totaling 19 technicians), and proof documents should be submitted (including the Labor Insurance, Health Insurance and payroll information of the aforementioned personnel by the contractor)

◎履約期限:
1.維護保養期間由本局指定開工日期，履約期限為開工日起4年(開工日上午8時起至屆期日上午8時止)。履約期間包含星期例假日、國定假日及其他休假日。
2.臺北運務段轄區車站電梯、貨梯、電扶梯、自動門【含臺北、板橋站自動門(含氣簾)】部分：詳附件三-附件15、17。
3.於契約期限屆滿前，為利新舊契約銜接，本局得保留與原立約商續約之權利，續約以2.5個月為1期，最多2期，以5個月為限，依原契約條件及價金續約，並以換文方式辦理。
